DEPLOYING PLOA (Performance Learning Online Assessments)

Option 1: No Reporting Sharing

Learners following this path will not receive the results of their PLOA.
After completing their PLOA, the learner will continue straight to accessing their Performance Learning Online Pathways with lessons allocated based on their needs as identified through their PLOA selfassessment.


Option 2: Self-Reflection (Learner only)

Following the completion of PLOA, Learners on this path will receive their one page Getting to Know you Report.
Learners are given the opportunity to read, reflect, digest this with their Learner Mentor
The Learner Mentor does not provide any additional intervention.
* Recommended for Low Alert and No Alert Learners


Option 3: Guided Self-Reflection
 (Learner and mentor)*

Following the completion of PLOA, Learners on this path will receive their one-page Getting to Know you Report.
Learners are given the opportunity to read, reflect and digest this with their Learner Mentor.
Learner Mentor guides the learner on how to interpret the information and how to implement the findings to impact their learning.

* Recommended for Severe Alert, High Alert, Moderate Alert Learners

DEPLOYING PATHWAYS

 

Option 1: Self-Driven Approach

● Self-driven by the learner.
● Each learner has access to their bespoke Performance Learning Online Pathways.
● The learner is guided to complete a Pathway per week to be completed at a time that they choose.
● Learner Mentors check in with the learner on a weekly / monthly basis to check the status of their implementation of the new skills and review with them their Challenge Progress.

Option 2: Blended Approach

● The Learner Mentor will guide learners in a group session through the key components of their Performance Learning Online pathways.
● This includes explaining the Learning Outcomes, success criteria, plenary and the Post Lesson Assessment for the pathway lesson.
● These four components – Learning Outcomes, Success Criteria, Plenary and the Post Lesson Assessment – can be delivered as a group irrespective of the fact that each learner may have a different Performance Learning Online Pathway due to the results of their PLOA.
● Outside of the Learner Mentor led session the learner is guided to complete a Pathway per week to be completed at a time that they choose.
● During Learner Mentor led sessions, the Learner Mentor will check with the group on their progress using their new skills and review with them their Challenge progress.

Option 3: Fully Learner Mentor Led Approach

● In essence, the Learner Mentor is set up with one Performance Learning Online Pathway Dashboard containing all resources and content available for them.
● The Learner Mentor determines what content to teach to their group of learners and when to deliver this.
● Delivery is made using the Performance Learning Online Pathway Dashboard content as a guide.
● For this approach, Learners will not have access to their own Performance Learning Online pathways.

Option 4: Guided Reflection and Performance Learning Online pathways**

● Following the completion of PLOA, Learners on this path will receive their one page Getting to Know you Report.
● Learners are given the opportunity to read, reflect and digest this with their Learner Mentor.
● Learner Mentor guides the learner on how to interpret the information and how to implement the findings to impact their learning.
● Learners are then given access in the session to online Performance Learning Online Pathways to contextualize the discussed action plan following on from their PLOA results.

**Most common for High Alert and Severe Alert Learners.

Option 5: One to one Learner Mentor Led Approach

● For this approach, one-to-one sessions are scheduled by the Learner Mentor with the learner.
● During the sessions, the Learner Mentor coaches the learner through their bespoke Performance Learning Online Pathways on a one to one basis.
This is the approach adopted most typically at the start of a Performance Learning journey for a High Alert or Severe Alert learner.
